The fuel surcharge for Bavarian's residential and commercial services is subject to adjustment based on the first published monthly average of the Midwest On-Highway Average price for a gallon of diesel fuel as determined by the Energy Information Administration (EIA). Please click here for our current fuel surcharge chart. Once ascertained, this average determines the next billing fuel surcharge rate.
Please note that our benchmark threshold is $2.00 per gallon. Thus if fuel drops below the $2.00 threshold, we are proud to say our fuel surcharge will cease being applied. Please note many of our competitors will continue to impose their surcharge regardless of lower market trends. Additionally, some competitors within our region never drop their charge below 4+% period.
We understand that both the private and corporate citizen needs relief also, so we try to be as fair as possible
while still addressing the diesel and petroleum-based market fluctuations. Our fuel surcharge is based on your total monthly service and is a percentage thereof.
Please also note our fuel surcharge chart is subject to change should the market exceed our current maximum rate. If this should occur, we will publish a new chart immediately.
